Position : ASSISTANT RESEARCH OFFICER   Salary Grade : Q29   Term : Permanent Non-Pensionable/ Contract   Location : KARABUNGAN SEED GARDEN, MIRI   No. of Vacancy : 1   Salary :   THE JOB       Assist Research Officer in ensuring all the data collection is properly executed and improving working methods and procedures. In addition, to lead and supervise field general workers at the greenhouse, nursery and field as instructed by Research Officer that include recording data and other research works.   REQUIREMENTS       Compulsory • Malaysian citizen; • At least attain the age of 18 years on the closing date of this advertisement; • Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Malaysia at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or a qualification recognised as equivalent by the Government; and • Diploma in Plantation or Agriculture recognised by the Government or a recognised qualification equivalent to it. Other skill/knowledge will be an added advantage • At least three (3) years working experience in laboratory/greenhouse/nursery is an added advantage; • Strong knowledge of research methodologies; • Mature, strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision; • Strong organisational and analytic skill with aptitude for details; • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, completing priorities and deadlines; • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken; and • Computer literate.     Closing date :  2023-06-11
