Position : AGRICULTURE TECHNICIAN   Salary Grade : G29   Term : Permanent Non-Pensionable/ Contract   Location : SALCRA (HQ)   No. of Vacancy : 1   Salary :   THE JOB       Assist in coordinating, conducting and monitoring agronomic activities, research trials and technical support and services to the plantation towards achieving the organisation’s goals and strategies.   REQUIREMENTS       Compulsory • Malaysian citizen; • At least attain the age of 18 years on the closing date of this advertisement; • Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Malaysia at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or a qualification recognised as equivalent by the Government; and • Diploma in Agriculture or Planting Industry Management recognised by the Government or a recognised qualification equivalent to it. Other skill/knowledge will be an added advantage • At least one (1) to two (2) years working experience in plantation industry; • Possess good leadership qualities and analytical thinking; • Possess the ability to write scientific/technical reports and presentation slides; • Mature, strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision; • Strong organisational and analytic skill with aptitude for details; • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, completing priorities and deadlines; • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken; and • Computer literate.     Closing date :  2023-06-11
